Sheet piling retains soil, using steel sheets with interlocking edges and is installed with pneumatic hammers or vibratory methods.

Common Applications Include:

Advantages:

  • Works well in non-cohesive soils that tend to slough when excavated.
  • Sheet piles are re-usable.
  • Can be used as a permanent retaining wall.
